My Favorite Pink! - Harmony Gelish - "High Voltage"

Here I have for you today is my favorite pink gel polish! This is three coats of Gelish's "High Voltage". It still has a slight visible nail line even after three coats but not too noticeable in most lighting. Anyway still one of my favorites to wear. I love the sparkly goodness! =)

ibd Just Gel Polish - "Indian Sari"

This is another one of my favorite gel polish brands, ibd "Just Gel Polish"; I have about a half a dozen or so colors as of now & each one of them has an amazing formula. They also have a great array of colors & are much more affordable [I purchased mine on eBay for less than $8 per 15ml bottle with free s&h]. So today I have for you two coats of "Indian Sari"... it has a gorgeous shimmer that is just stunning in sunlight! And as for any gel polish I like ANY color that can give me full opacity with two coats (since 2-3 minutes of curing each layer in with a UV light is time consuming enough without having to do 3-4 coats).

Harmony Gelish - "Garden Teal Party"

Even if you can get up to 3 weeks of wear in a gel manicure I usually change mine every 5-7 days purely 'cz I'm bored & in need of a new color :) Today I have for you Gelish's "Garden Teal Party". It's a gorgeous teal blue that covers well in only two coats. For this particular color I had trouble with the clean up as I usually do with blues, greens & purples 'cz they like to stain the skin. The flaws don't seem as noticeable in person but unfortunately the camera catches everything! :( Anyhow, I love this color in spite of the messy clean up.

Re-vamping my blog! Kickin' off Spring with neon orange & gold!

Hi welcome back to my blog! I'm re-vamping my blog since I wasn't happy with most of my past posts. They looked super sloppy with messy clean up! So I'm back & will be focusing on cleaner edges, gel polish swatches (mainly) & maybe a bit of nail art. Majority of the time I am wearing gel polishes 'cz I love that my manicures last a lot longer 'cz I don't have time to switch colors every few days. Plus I find that when you go to most nail blogs you can't find a lot of gel swatches. Especially because of the light & heat sensitivity with gel polishes that you get to see little to no view from the bottle. So I'm starting over! I will always give you a with & without flash view. I'm from Washington State (where there's not a lot of sunshine year round) so I cannot provide sunlight photos very often. Here's my first post for you all!

Shown is three coats of Gelish's "Tiki Tiki Laranga" & my accent ring finger was done with two coats of Gelish's "Meet The King". You always want to make sure you apply thin coats when using multiple coats of soak-off gel polish to avoid "wrinkling" that may happen when curing. You get a bit of visible nail line with "Tiki Tiki Laranga" but not too bad. I'm usually not a huge fan of gold but I love this combo! What do you think?
